To kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week, UWaterloo is highlighting standout entrepreneurs. Among this list is Rastin Rassoli, a joint computer science and psychology student.
Over the past year, Rastin has emerged as a rising star in AI and wellness. He co-founded Doro, an AI-powered app to help people exhibiting early signs of a mental health condition. Since its official launch in 2025, Doro has been deployed at Waterloo’s Campus Wellness and 30 clinics across Canada, making support more accessible and affordable.
